LEED by ME

Marika has been a financial and management professional for almost thirty years. Her focus has always been to develop financial statements and models which are used to better operate businesses and maximize its income. It follows that she can use this financial and operational expertise to develop sustainability models for buildings. By understanding the financial cost, Marika hopes to inspire building owners to implement sustainable practices. Marika also has the knowledge and skills to successfully administer the LEED certification process for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance, New Construction and for Homes and Neighborhoods.
Marika is a UC Riverside Extension Instructor and will be teaching a course called Economics of Sustainability in spring 2010.

Marika holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics from University of California at Santa Barbara.
